EmpowerOKC is committed to building families up and giving them the resources they need to grow stronger, happier, more productive and more stable. Through Bright Futures we aim to give parents the information and skills they need to make positive changes in their lives and their children’s lives.

Parents connect with professional Advocates who mentor and support them. We provide classes, support groups, coaching and help them fulfill any needs their family might have. We will address mental and physical challenges and help parents build a practical toolbox that can really make a difference at home.

The classes we offer are:

  • Circle of Security
  • Teen Speak
  • Strengthening Families
  • Trust Based Relational Intervention
  • Raising Highly Capable Kids

For more information you can email us at info@lilyfield.org or call (405) 602-8861.

Lilyfield is offering “Trust-Based Relational Intervention” (TBRI) Caregiver training. There will be both Spanish and English sessions available as well as a meal and childcare.

The TBRI Caregiver Training is designed to move from theory into behavioral applications, giving participants a knowledgebase, then providing them with real-life tools they can use with their own children and families. The aim for this training is not only to help participants understand the relationship history of “children from hard places,” but also to give them tools to move forward, deepen, and strengthen connections with them.

Another class we offer is a 13-week course called "Raising Highly Capable Kids", which is an evidence based curriculum that identifies 40 developmental assets children need to be successful. The curriculum is a national program provided in both Spanish and English.

With a morning snack like donuts, coffee, pan dulce and fruit, our Parent Support Group provides a comfortable social setting to bring topics and discuss issues pertinent to parenting, child education and development, self-care and more. A weekly grocery incentive is provided for every family that comes.
